Bloomsbury Art Fair gets green light for 2012
Thursday, 10 November 2011 11:50Having attracted over 3,000 visitors and raised over £60,000 in its first year, Bloomsbury Art Fair is now a fixture on the capital's art calendar, and plans are already underway for 2012. The event will take place July 6-8 at Goodenough College.
George Crofton said:"BAF began as a simple idea; to have a handful of disabled artists showcase their work for one night, demonstrating their ability and talent while also raising money for charity. However, the idea received such a positive response that it grew beyond imagination."
The official launch of the 2012 Bloomsbury Art Fair was attended by Captain Harry Parker and General Sir Graeme Lamb from the newest benefiting charity – Walking With The Wounded. Work is underway to source an exciting collection of exhibitors that will include established artists and galleries alongside new and emerging creative talent.
All works are for sale and visitors can purchase affordable and investment pieces in the beautiful surroundings of Goodenough College. Re-entry is free on subsequent days so visitors can return any time and buy.
